Key Advising Update
As you are aware from recent UAAC meetings,starting Fall 2025, the Miami Plan Perspectives Area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will be renamed Ethical Citizenship & Leadership.
Where You’ll See This Change:
Degree Audit (DAR): Listed as Ethical Citizenship and Leadership.
CourseList: Appears as PA - Ethical Citizenship (PA - DEI is removed).
What this means for ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs:
- No impact on earned credit hours. Any completed PA4 DEI courses will still count under the renamed PA4 Ethical Citizenship & Leadership.
- Same course options remain available for ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs under Catalog Years 202410 and later.
- No changes to Bulletin ties—Miami Plan course designations remain independent from degree program requirements.
