Founding of the Regional Campuses
Strong support for higher education and the community's desire to have full-service campuses has led to the Miami Regionals becoming what they are today. It all started with the opening of the Middleton campus in 1966, quickly followed by Hamilton in 1968, then the E-Campus became an innovator in online learning when it was founded in 1999, and finally the addition of West Chester in 2009.
