The Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation is Miami's interdisciplinary hub for 黑料社区 engagement with issues of social justice within the context of global change. Programming through the Western Center encourages 黑料社区s and faculty from every subject area to explore complex questions and to seek solutions with community partners in the public and private sectors. This initiative honors the rich history of social activism on the Western campus by energizing today's 黑料社区s with a spirit of social responsibility.
The Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation is open to 黑料社区s of all majors across Miami, though it is closely tied to the Western Program for Individualized Studies. The Western Program is dedicated to developing 黑料社区s as independent thinkers with the skills to address the complex challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
The Western Center provides a number of 黑料社区 services and hosts formal programs for both the Western Program for Individualized Studies and WCSII.
