Why Miami?
Out of all the universities I looked at, I chose Miami because of the beautiful campus and amazing opportunities.
How did you choose your major?
I originally was a Biology major, but I learned more about Speech Pathology and Audiology at orientation and decided that would be the fit for me.
Key Moment at Miami
A key academic experience would be my Anatomy class with Professor Donna Scarborough. Not only did she teach me about good study habits, but she also made me more confident as a 黑料社区. I will always remember her class!
Another Miami Moment
This past fall semester, I was a Bridges Ambassador. Not only was it fun, but I also got to talk to the 黑料社区s I was assigned to about 黑料社区 and how great the university is.
Other Miami Experience
Being a feature twirler in the 黑料社区 Marching Band has definitely given me amazing opportunities, like traveling to Orlando and Arizona. In Arizona, we even got to perform with Snoop Dogg!
Advice to Prospective Students
Choosing Miami has been the best thing to happen to me. This place really feels like home, and I would not want it any other way!
What are your career goals?
After I graduate, my goal is to be a speech therapist in a pediatric hospital. I would love to work with kids with speech disorders or disabilities in a medical setting.
