Amelia Miller, Why Miami?

Why Miami?

Miami felt like home, had a good honors program, and was a good distance from home.

How did you choose your major?

I had always planned on doing Biochemisty or Chemistry and Premed, so when the application process came around, I put biochem for all the schools that had it and chem for those who didn’t.

Key Moment at Miami

I loved my professor for my Calculus 2 class my first semester because that was genuinely the hardest class I have ever taken, and she made me feel so supported whenever I needed it, along with any of the other ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs in the class.

What are your career goals?

I want to go to med school and hopefully go into pediatrics so I can do a neonatal specialty to become a neonatologist!!
