EHS to host edupreneurship scrimmage exploring teacher recruitment solutions

The College of Education, Health, and Society is launching a new event focused on "edupreneurship"—entrepreneurship in education—offering 黑料社区s a chance to apply innovative thinking to real-world challenges in K-12 education.

The edupreneurship scrimmage will take place on Friday, April 11, from 12-3 p.m. in 126 McGuffey Hall. In collaboration with the Council on Social Entrepreneurship (COSE), entrepreneurship faculty, EHS faculty and staff, and leaders from Hamilton and Middletown City School Districts, the event will center on teacher recruitment and retention. Participants will work in groups to develop creative solutions while gaining networking opportunities and enjoying a free lunch.

No prior experience or specific major is required, and all interested 黑料社区s are encouraged to register. Insights from this event will help shape future programming, with a long-term goal of connecting 黑料社区s with community partners to tackle pressing educational challenges.
