Four FSB grads among new 18 of the Last 9 honorees
Four Farmer School of Business alumni have been selected to be among the .
Based on the popular “30 under 30” model and inspired by ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s charter year of 1809, the program is designed to honor alumni who are living out the values inherent in a Miami education. In the program’s eleventh year, nearly 90 alumni were nominated for this award.
This year’s recipients include:
- , 2016 Russian, supply chain operations and management, and finance graduate. "Dennis is a proud partner at Bruk Consulting, a boutique data & analytics consulting firm he co-founded with a close friend from kindergarten. Throughout his junior year, Dennis worked hard reviewing hundreds of case studies to prepare and become Miami's first intern at Bain and Company. His time at Bain gave Dennis the chance to earn his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management with a focus on entrepreneurship. Harnessing his entrepreneurial acumen, leadership skills, and commitment to environmental responsibility, Dennis co-founded Blip Energy, a residential energy storage company, alongside his Kellogg peers. His experience with Blip inspired him to take the risk to open Bruk Consulting."
- , 2014 finance graduate. "Mehta is global head of advertising partnerships and strategy at Block, leading the global advertising partnerships business to drive measurable revenue for Afterpay and Cash App globally. Under Saket's leadership, the team oversees Revenue Partnerships, Gift Cards revenue, Offers & Rewards, and Operations. Prior to joining Block, Saket led advertising and channel partnerships at Gopuff, where he partnered with brands, agencies, and revenue partners to drive Gopuff’s revenue. He also was an early employee at TubeMogul, a leading software company for brand advertising where he spearheaded a variety of sales, strategy, and operations roles as the company scaled from the early days to 1,000 plus people, went public, and eventually was acquired by Adobe. He has held leadership roles at Chartboost (acquired by Zynga) and Quibi as well. Outside of operations, he is an avid angel investor alongside being an LP in M13 Ventures, Arcadian Capital, and other funds plus startup businesses. He also is an adjunct professor for a variety of Miami undergraduate and MBA marketing courses."
- , 2020 marketing graduate. "Phillips is a current doctorate of business administration candidate, with a focus on AI, at the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. He recently graduated from DLSU with his master’s degree in business administration. Benjamin is the captain of the 2023 UAAP Basketball championship team. Benjamin served the Philippines National Team (Gilas Pilipinas) in their gold medal redemption of the 2023 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games for basketball. Benjamin is the COO of The Business Hospital, an organization that enhances the business health of all companies. Benjamin is also a small tech investor, and a published author of The Lone Wolf Mentality: A Millennial Mindset, which he wrote as a sophomore at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. He is working on his fourth book to be released in mid-2024 about his international travels and journeys."
- , 2019 finance graduate. "Zak is the co-founder and chief operating officer of Mad Rabbit. He and his co-founder, Selom Agbitor, created their first batches of all-natural tattoo care in Oliver's apartment on High Street months before graduation in 2019. In the following four years beyond Miami, the brand inked a deal with Mark Cuban on Shark Tank in 2021, secured an additional $11 million in venture-backed funding, and have protected over 3 million tattoos in over 100 countries. Oliver was also recently recognized as an innovator by Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2023. Today he spends his time focused on fostering Mad Rabbit's robust community and other core strategic initiatives. Oliver is often described as a strong listener, and an empowering and charismatic leader. He often appears on podcasts, and makes himself available for those seeking advice and guidance in business."
Also among the honorees is , a 2018 interactive media studies graduate, who has been a committed supporter of the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship, serving as a class speaker and a guest judge at many entrepreneurship events at the Farmer School of Business.
