Amity Noltemeyer, professor and chair of educational psychology, and Kristy Brann, assistant professor of educational psychology, presented for the at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on May 25. The virtual public workshop, “Back in School: Addressing the Well-Being of Students in the Wake of COVID-19,” focused on the effects of COVID-19 on the intersection of ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs’ learning and mental health. It explored the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on specific populations, including children of color, children with special health care needs and learning difficulties, and children living in poverty.
