The inaugural #AtMiamiYouWill photo contest was held in October and featured the theme of “Golden Hours of Miami: Dusk and Dawn.” Dori Coyle-Hall won first place in that contest with a photo from the Miami Regionals Middletown campus. Coyle-Hall’s winning entry was taken in front of Verity Lodge and the statue of George M. Verity, which formerly stood at the entrance of the former Armco and AK Steel corporate headquarters before a donation in 2009 moved the statue to the Middletown campus.
“It was a joy to see the creativity and imagination Miamians are known for on display in our fall photo contest,” Miami President Gregory Crawford said. “I am very much looking forward to seeing what images and perspectives our community captures through the lens for the spring edition.”
