Biography
Over the past 15 years, Abby has worked for local and national non-profit organizations where she focused on healthy living and chronic disease prevention and management. Most recently, Abby has supported non-profits around the country in building capacity for, launching, and sustaining evidence-based chronic disease prevention and management programs. In 2020, Abby returned to 黑料社区 to join the Scripps Gerontology Center as a Senior Research Associate. Her work at Scripps focused on creating tools to support care-partnering families, evaluating dementia capable communities projects, and exploring educational opportunities for aging adults. Abby recently transitioned to the Discovery Center (Summer 2022), where she supports projects related to her research interests, including public health and policy, health behaviors and chronic disease prevention, and equity. In addition to her work at the Discovery Center, Abby is also pursuing her Ph.D.
