CAS Recognition Ceremony
The CAS Recognition Ceremony is a smaller event designed to complement the university ceremony. Graduates will have their names read individually as they walk across the stage to receive their diploma covers and to be professionally photographed.

Kris Bahner '92 (Senior Vice President and Chief Global Corporate Affairs Officer, Kellanova) and Molly Guiberson (Data Analytics; Philosophy) are the alumni guest and 黑料社区 speakers, respectively, at the CAS Recognition Ceremony on May 18.
Tickets are not required. The ceremony will last approximately 90-120 minutes. Current planning includes open seating, with no restriction on the number of guests.
Note: The University Commencement Ceremony is earlier in the day at Yager Stadium.
Security
All bags will be checked upon entering the arena. Please plan to leave all non-essential items in your locked vehicle. Plan to arrive early!
Instructions for CAS Undergraduate and Master's Degree Candidates
Please arrive at Millett Hall no later than 3:30 pm if you desire to participate in the recognition ceremony. The procession will line up at 3:45 pm (undergraduates first with Master's Degree to follow). The program will start promptly at 4 pm.
Master's Degree Candidates:
Upon arrival, please check in at the appropriate designated table in the Center Concourse (center/front doors of Millett Hall) to pick up your name card.
Undergraduate Candidates:
Upon arrival, please check in at the appropriate designated tables as indicated by your last name A-K West Concourse (nearest parking lot) and L-Z East Concourse (nearest Gross Center) to pick up your name card.
Please remain in your designated area for line up at 3:45 pm.
Please be dressed appropriately in the university-approved cap and gown. (Note: The tassel goes on the LEFT side of your mortarboard. Tassels will be moved from the right side to the left at the university ceremony earlier on Saturday) For more information on which tassel to order for your degree program and where to order, see the information below.
Instructions for Family and Friends
All university parking lots and parking garages will be open to the public at no charge during commencement weekend, including Millett Assembly Hall, Ditmer, and Cook Field lots. On both Saturday and Sunday, we strongly recommend that you use our BCRTA shuttle service from the Ditmer and Cook Field lots to avoid traffic congestion. Parking and shuttle maps will be made available at a later date.
Accessible parking is available in the West Millett Lot. A valid state-issued disability placard is required to park in accessible parking spaces. An accessible drop-off location is also available on the North side of Millet.
Accessible seating is available on the court level and the upper level, both accessible by elevator. Please connect with an usher upon arrival, and they will be able to assist you. Guests sitting in the accessible seating area are permitted one companion to accompany them in the accessible seating area.
