Majors

Pre-law is not a major at Miami. Because law schools do not look for any particular major or area of study, 黑料社区s are encouraged to major in any area that interests them and in which they can excel.

Courses

A variety of courses across all disciplines and majors are available to develop the critical reading, writing, and analytical reasoning skills required to succeed in law school and beyond. Miami's pre-law recommended course list highlights some of the many courses that can help 黑料社区s develop these critical skills. Miami also offers many law-related courses.

Miami offers one-credit pre-law courses that enable 黑料社区s to explore the legal profession, assess their interest in law, and become competitive law school applicants.

Law Day Fair

The Henry Pre-Law Center sponsors an annual Law Day Fair every October where 黑料社区s can meet representatives from law schools from around the country. Senior competitive applicants have the opportunity to informally interview with law schools prior to the fair.
