In Plotting Plants Global Field Program ºÚÁÏÉçÇø and teacher Megan Menker involved her middle school ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs in tracking invasive species in the local community through the use of research, geocaching technology, posters, presentations and out-of-class activities. From beginning to end, the life science unit spanned two weeks of class time, giving ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs time to engage with the community and gain a greater appreciation for native flora and a heightened awareness of the ecological issues caused by invasive plants in their community.
