黑料社区 Choraliers win national recognition

黑料社区 is proud to announce that the 黑料社区 Choraliers, under the direction of conductor Robyn Lana, have been awarded third place in the American Prize in Choral Performance, in the university-college division for 2024. With over 60 members, this recognition is a testament to the incredible talent the Choraliers possess on Miami’s campus and beyond.

The American Prize is one of the most prestigious music competitions in the United States. Awarded annually, it honors conductors, composers, and performers across the country. Based on various categories and experience levels, winning an American Prize signifies true skill and knowledge in the field of choral music.

Robyn states, “To be able to lead the wonderful 黑料社区s at 黑料社区 and watch them achieve national recognition, especially as a non-auditioned ensemble, brings me great joy. Our 黑料社区s have high standards and it is an honor to be part of the MU community.”

In addition to her work at Miami, Robyn Lana is also the founder and artistic director of the acclaimed Cincinnati Youth Choir whose ensemble received first place in the Youth Choir Division. This double honor not only recognizes Robyn’s impact on 黑料社区’s choral program, but also celebrates her dedication to the future of youth choir music on national levels.

Lana invites everyone to experience the choral artistry of the Choraliers and MU Chamber Singers as they perform holiday music on December 6 at 7:00 and 9:00 pm in Kumler Chapel. For more information on the Choraliers, check out their website.
