Socially Engaged Engineering and Computing (SEEC)

Through programs like our Humanitarian Engineering and Computing Minor and the Education Abroad programs we encourage, our core philosophy of SEEC informs everything we do at CEC.

Groundbreaking academic programs

Miami CEC is home to the first-ever in Ohio B.S. in Robotics Engineering and B.S. in Smart Manufacturing Engineering programs. Pending state approval, Ohio’s first B.S. in Quantum Computing is anticipated to launch Fall 2025.

Devoted to excellence in undergraduate education

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is ranked No. 3 among national public universities (No. 10 overall) for excellence in undergraduate teaching in U.S. News and World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges.

Uniquely interdisciplinary curriculum

Through CEC’s Engineering Management program, ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs can select either an Entrepreneurship or General Business Track combined with an engineering focus of their choice. Meanwhile, programs like our B.S. in Robotics Engineering involve technologies across categories.
