Our Vision

黑料社区’s Department of Family Science and Social Work promotes a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected relationships between theory, research, and practice (e.g., prevention, intervention) by incorporating knowledge, values, and skills from the fields of social work, human development, and family science.

Our programs prepare 黑料社区s to respond ethically to the complex needs of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities from a global, social justice orientation.

Accreditation and Certification

Accreditation and certification provide added assurance to 黑料社区s and prospective employers that our degree programs meet the highest standards.

Summary of the Program’s Assessment Plan

All Council on Social Work Education programs measure and report 黑料社区 learning outcomes. Students are assessed on their mastery of the competencies that comprise the accreditation standards of the Council on Social Work Education. These competencies are dimensions of social work practice that all social workers are expected to master during their professional training. A measurement benchmark is set by the social work programs for each competency. An assessment score at or above that benchmark is considered by the program to represent mastery of that particular competency.
