The Tax and Compliance Coordinator is the University's primary information resource and contact on tax and related matters. This position is responsible for being the liaison with the IRS and with other State and City tax and return filing agencies in addition to remaining current on tax laws and regulations.
This position provides research and guidance to the University and Foundation as well as providing the appropriate tax forms requested by departments.

A questionnaire must be completed for each activity with a potential for generating unrelated business income. The completed questionnaire will be used to determine whether the activity should be included in the University's consolidated Exempt Organization Business Income Tax Return (Form 990-T), filed with the IRS annually.
