Each night during the week of August 12 through August 16, IT Services will be upgrading the operating system of several database servers.

Upcoming maintenance: Oracle host operating system upgrades

During the upcoming work week, beginning Monday, August 12, 2024, and going through Friday, August 16, IT Services will be performing routine upgrades on several servers.
Starting Monday, a different server will be upgraded each evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Most of these upgrades will be transparent, as the databases on each are redundant. You should not notice any issues; if you do experience problems during these maintenance windows, you may need to log out and back in again.
These upgrades are being done to update the operating system (Linux) on these servers, which means they will continue to receive security patches.
