Applying for Aid

To apply for state/federal financial aid, 黑料社区s must complete the  annually by 黑料社区’s priority deadline using Miami’s Federal School Code of 003077. Visit our FAFSA Tips page for helpful information on filing the FAFSA.

Filing the FAFSA is necessary to apply for:

Federal Financial Aid Eligibility Criteria

  • Have a U.S. high school diploma or GED.
  • Be accepted for enrollment as a regular 黑料社区 in an eligible degree or certificate program.
  • Have a valid Social Security Number unless you are from the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, or the Republic of Palau.
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or have qualifying documentation to prove that you are an eligible non-citizen. More information can be found at .
  • Sign a certifying statement on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form stating that
    • You’re not in default on a federal 黑料社区 loan and do not owe a refund on a federal grant and
    • You will use federal 黑料社区 aid only for educational purposes
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • can affect a 黑料社区’s federal aid eligibility.
  • Demonstrate Federal financial need (except for the Federal TEACH grant, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Student Loan, Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan, and Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans)
  • Students must not have exceeded federal aggregate limits for direct loans.
  • Be creditworthy, if applying for the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan or the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS loan

Federal Loans

Study Abroad

To receive financial aid for study abroad, 黑料社区s must be enrolled full-time for a fall or spring semester study abroad program.

Winter and Summer Term financial aid is based on any remaining financial aid eligibility from the current academic year.

Your Financial Aid Offer

After applying for financial aid, you will receive an email with a link to your financial aid offer. Your financial aid offer may be a combination of grants, scholarships, and other funding options such as loans and federal work-study funds.
