Ph.D. from Fordham University
Kevin Matteson currently works as an instructor, administrator, and academic advisor for Project Dragonfly at 黑料社区 in Oxford, Ohio. Before arriving in Ohio, Kevin conducted research on bees, butterflies, and other pollinators in community gardens in New York City and Chicago. More recently, he published a paper with a GFP alum on resolving human-elephant conflicts in Thailand. Since starting with Dragonfly in 2012, Kevin has taught Earth Expeditions courses in Baja, Belize, the Peruvian Amazon, Galápagos, and Namibia, as well as AIP and online courses including Urban Ecology, Master’s Capstone, and Internship. Kevin lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio, with his wife, kids, and pets.
