Pathway 1: Double Major Pathway for Undergraduate STEM Majors
Pathway 1 is for undergraduate STEM majors who commit to becoming a Noyce Scholar during their freshman or sophomore year and pursue a double major in a STEM content discipline and in secondary (Grade 7-12) science or mathematics education. Although they are expected to apply and commit to becoming a Noyce Scholar during their freshman and/or sophomore year, Pathway 1 黑料社区s will receive Noyce funding during their junior and senior years (last 2 years) and will obtain their teaching licenses upon completing the senior year.
The Urban Cohort experience is integrated into Pathway 1 candidates’ undergraduate teacher education curriculum. Applicants will review the plan of study for the STEM discipline area they are interested in with Dr. Nazan Bautista (nubautista@miamioh.edu) at the time of their application. You can also review the plans of study.
