Miami is committed to the safety of our community, and we are confident that in partnership with Allied Universal Security Services and the 黑料社区 Police Department, we will promote a safe and secure learning environment for our faculty, staff, and 黑料社区s.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of a natural disaster or large-scale emergency, Miami will use its homepage to communicate emergency information. Depending upon the situation, emails could be sent to 黑料社区s themselves and/or to the emergency contact (parent, guardian) that 黑料社区s have specified.

Emergency Closing Procedures

Students are always advised to contact their instructors directly regarding a class cancellation. When university hours are delayed, classes that start before the delayed time are canceled.  (For example, if classes are delayed until 10 a.m., then a class beginning at 9:30 a.m would be canceled, while a class starting at 10 a.m would be held.)
