Age Requirement: There are no minimum age requirements for this camp as long as the athlete has the appropriate test levels. 

• Overnight Camper Fee | $950
  • Included: All programming plus room, board, and 24-hour supervision beginning at check-in and ending at check-out on the final day of camp.
• Day Camper Fee | $850
  • Included: All programming, supervision throughout the day, and lunch at a university dining hall during full camp days ONLY.

Roommate requests are also part of the registration process. If two skaters wish to be roommates, they must EACH request the other skater on their registrations. If no roommate request is designated or if BOTH skaters do not request each other, our staff will place the skater(s) with a roommate. 

All final room assignments are determined at the discretion of the camp director. All rooming assignments are based on the double occupancy as provided by the university. Triple roommate requests are not accepted but may need to occur due to university needs and cannot be requested by campers.

There is a $200 non-refundable deposit for each week of camp with the balance due by May 31, 2024. Full refunds (minus non-refundable fees) may be granted for a medical or summer school reason and the following requirements are met:

1. Medical Refund—Request is made in writing to the Skating School Director prior to the start of camp and a written statement from a doctor is presented;
2. Summer School—Request is made in writing to the Skating School Director prior to June 15, 2024, and a written statement from the school Principal is presented. Refunds of only the unused portion of housing and meals may be given for any other withdrawal from camp with a written request to the Skating School Director prior to the start of camp or upon leaving early from camp due to medical reasons.

Campers will stay in ºÚÁÏÉçÇø dorms in close walking distance from the ice arena. Dorms are renovated and are air conditioned.

Roommates are assigned from requests made at the time of registrations. Roommate preference is only a request and is not guaranteed but usually honored. Priority goes to requests where both participants each request the other as their roommate(vs. only one participant making the request). Typically two skaters are assigned per room . We reserve the right to assign three skaters to a room if there is a camp need.

If a skater does not have a roommate request we make every attempt to assign a roommate as close in age as possible.

The skater must have passed the minimum testing requirements to attend camp by July 1st, 2025.  

Campers will have their meals at a ºÚÁÏÉçÇø dining hall within walking distance of the ice arena.

• Overnight campers receive lunch and dinner on the first day of camp, breakfast, lunch and dinner on the full days of camp and breakfast on the last day of camp.
• Day campers (non-overnight) will receive lunch during their full days of camp. They do not have camp meals on the first or last day of camp.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø dining halls are able to provide accommodations for all types of special dietary needs.

As we are getting closer to camp a, a link to ask for special dietary accommodations will be provided, as well as contact information for the university dietitian.

Our camp counselors are all experienced members of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø skating family.  Most often they are Miami ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs who are members of the university’s varsity or intercollegiate skating teams. They are familiar with our campus facilities and procedures.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø and the Goggin Ice Center are in southwest Ohio approximately 1 hour from either the Cincinnati (CVG) or Dayton (DAY) airports. We are easily reachable by car or flight.

Goggin Ice Center is located at 610 S. Oak St Oxford, Ohio 45056. 

Transportation from the Cincinnati or Dayton Airports can be arranged through a variety of services. Although this  is not an endorsement of this service, Executive Transportation http://www.executivetransportation.org or 800-990-8841 has been a reliable transportation service to some of our campers in the past. 

Miami is a "Cashless" Campus! Credit/Debit cards must be used for parking, vending, pro shop, and other places that require payment. All major credit cards are accepted. Skaters will not be able to pay with cash or create a charge account at the pro shop as was possible in the past. Sending your skater with a prepaid Visa gift card may be a great way to be able to purchase drinks, snacks and other pro shop items during camp.

A packing list will be provided in May so that you have plenty of time to gather everything you will need.
